In this video, learn how to build a soccer goal.
Steps:
1. Cut PVC pipes to length using a hacksaw to make the front, base, and diagonal braces.
2. Dry fit all the parts together. Use elbows to make the corners and tees to connect the diagonal braces.
3. Once the goal looks right, use a permanent marker to mark every connection with a line so you know exactly how the pieces fit together.
4. One, by one, take apart each joint, wipe PVC pipe cement on the outside of the pipe and the inside of the connector, and put the joint back together. Line up the marks as fast as you can, then hold the parts together for a few seconds until the cement sets up.
5. Cut off a section of deer netting to cover the back of the goal, leaving it a little loose. Use zip ties to attach it to the frame of the goal
6. Trim the zip ties and cut off the excess netting.
7. Use sandbags to weigh down the goal during play.
