In this video, learn how to build a toolbox.
Steps:
1. Use a tape measure and framing square to lay out all the parts.
2. Clamp down your workpiece and cut the pieces with a jigsaw.
3. Cut out the handle grip by drilling holes in the corners and inserting the jigsaw’s blade to get it started.
4. Sand the parts with a random-orbit sander and 120-grit sandpaper.
5. Apply glue to the edges of the short sides, then clamp the box together with bar clamps.
6. Nail the box together with 4d finish nails.
7. Glue and nail on the bottom.
8. Attach the tool holder to the handle and then fit the whole assembly in the box.
9. Stain the wood in your favorite color (or leave unfinished to make it look gritty.)
10. When the box is dry, wrap hockey-stick tape around the handle.
