A hip roof on the addition allows for extra height in this cozy room, which could be easily converted to a bedroom one day. For now it's living space, complete with a wall of custom cabinetry surrounding a remote-controlled direct vent gas fireplace. A media center on the left side includes a high-tech flat-screen television; on the right is a built-in desk for bill-paying and correspondence. The French door with sidelights leads out to a private stone patio beyond.
