Lead Paint Remediation
Kevin met a homeowner who was concerned about lead paint. Many areas of her home had tested positive for lead, including windows and doors, painted baseboards and other trim, and crumbling plaster & lath walls. Kevin worked with a lead abatement crew to remove the lead paint using hand scrapers and chemical strippers. In some cases, however, the trim had to be replaced entirely. Walls with crumbling plaster or peeling paint were covered with new drywall.
