Ask This Old House

Show Descriptions

Original Air Date: Week of December 12, 2002

In the Ask This Old House loft, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey and host Steve Thomas take apart an old washing machine to determine why it's making a loud rumbling sound. Landscape contractor Roger Cook pays a visit to a homeowner and uses a pressure washer to clean off his slippery brick walkway. Back in the loft, Steve, general contractor Tom Silva, Roger, and Richard examine two unfamiliar objects and try to guess how they're used. Tom demonstrates different types of spirit levels, and Richard sets out to help a homeowner with a leaky kitchen faucet.
