Landscape contractor Roger Cook and host Kevin O'Connor refinish several worn-out items using spray paint. Then, general contractor Tom Silva removes wall-to-wall carpet and installs a pre-finished wood floor. And in the loft, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey shows Kevin some new household devices that can be operated "hands-free."

Using Spray Paint
Roger and Kevin select the proper spray paint to restore plastic and metal items. There's a primer for plastic, a primer for rusty metal, a high-heat spray paint for a gas grill, and lots of color choices.

Installing a Prefinished Floor
Tom Silva removes wall-to-wall carpet and installs a pre-finished wood floor. Tom shows how to work around the baseboard and how to properly nail down the tongue and groove flooring.

Where to find it?
The flooring that Tom installed was ¾" x 3-¼" nail-down T&G Brazilian Koa wood. It was provided by Lumber Liquidators

Hands-Free Kitchen Fixtures
Richard showed Kevin some new household devices that can be operated "hands-free" including a new kitchen faucet and a soap dispenser.
