The house's circa 1940s galley kitchen boasted acoustical ceiling tile and ancient appliances. The area was opened up to include an eating area lit by bay windows. A new heart pine floor, maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops completed the comfortable new cooking area.
