Floor plan A Muted Welcome
Starting with a rickety vinyl-and-aluminum exterior door that provides an airlock and ending with a titanic radiator, the foyer doesn't make the grandest of impressions. The entrance to the rental unit shares common space with the owners' staircase, the lighting is dim and the flooring is worn. A new configuration, with two sets of double doors and no radiator, will separate the entrances and bring the airlock inside the building.
