A Room with a Flue
Like the rest of the building, the downstairs living room got increased
energy efficiency and a bit of quiet from its new double-glazed windows,
which replaced the old (though not original) drafty, decaying ones.
Another gain: a working fireplace, the result of a major hearth rebuild
and flue relining.
