We wanted to update the kitchen prior to our daughter's graduation open house. We had just made the decision to move forward when I came down with shingles. Since I was the work crew, the project was delayed for two months. We also had the challenge of using our basement wet-bar as a temporary kitchen. Fortunately, before we tore out the old kitchen, I cooked several meals ahead of time and froze them.
