Preserving Best Bits of Mid-Century Design: Before

Who: Joellyn C.
Where: Fort Benton, MT

This house was built by my grandparents in 1971, and most of the finishes were still original. We wanted to preserve the best bits of the mid-century design (large windows, great fireplace) and get rid of the worst bits (poorly made cabinets and carpet) while giving the entire thing a sleek, modern aesthetic.
