Remodel Vision Supported by Parents: After

Who: Kaler W.
Where: Raleigh, NC

We started with demo on the wall between the dining room and kitchen, and then moved to the brick wall that separated the kitchen and the addition. Once we removed the walls, we brought the room down to the studs—ceiling, floor, and remaining walls. Because my dad was custom-making the cabinets for me, I was able to select the sizes, the locations, and how I wanted them to function. Every girl's dream kitchen!

Who did the work: We did most of the work ourselves.
Cost: $5,000-$10,000
