A Monet-Inspired Allee: Before

Who: Bill and Nancy G.
Where: Oakland, MI

We have about four acres of natural wooded space, and we wanted to turn an acre or two into formal gardens. We designed and built several island gardens and a grand allee with rose arches, inspired by Claude Monet's gardens in Giverny, France. The arches in the allee are made from kerfed lumber, copper cable, and tubing.
