The crawl space and basement were enlarged to add a guest suite, and a hybrid timber frame system was installed in the living area to create a massive and open great room/dining/kitchen combination. The carport was replaced with a laundry/mudroom and garage. The house was sided with cedar and cement board siding to prevent continual maintenance.
