Converting a Barn Into a Home: After

Who: Robert C.
Where: Auburn Township, OH

We essentially built a new home within the walls and beams of the barn. We retained all structural beams. We insulated the home from the outside to preserve the inside of the roof and rafters. The natural breaks made by the posts and beams, as well as the varying heights due to the lofts, make it kind of cozy.

Who did the work: We did some of the work ourselves but a contractor did most of it.
Cost: More than $100,000
