Murphy Bed for Guest Room: After

Who: Bill and Darlene B.
Where: Langdon, ND

I love the openness of the room, and our guests all comment that it is a very comfortable bed. It is very light to handle, so the grandkids can open and close it themselves. The black pistons make that possible. We added built-in nightstands with shelving and crown molding. It is amazing how many people comment about the extra drawer space, too. Some realize as soon as they say it, and others need to be told that the bottom "drawers" are only there for looks. This rates way up there as one of the best projects we have done.

Who did the work: I did all the work myself.
Cost: $100 to $500
