Our home is in an area of Kansas City that has had a bit of a tough history, but seems to be improving drastically. Our house was empty for one year when we bought it from a bank, and had been a rental before then, so it needed tons of work. It's been a true labor of love! We are very thankful that we had three years to think through our design (even though waiting was a bit painful). We went through several looks, but in the ended decided we wanted to create a classic space to fit our classic home.
