My 79-year-old Dad was my contractor and I was his main helper. All the kids helped from time to time. I enjoyed working with my Dad. I love having the large open space for all the crowds we have. I love my beadboard cabinets. Used Allure flooring from Home Depot. Love it, easy to install and clean. Our kitchen is now safer and much easier to work in. Instead of saying "Do I have to cook?" I say "What can I make?"
