Upgrade Your Blade

Your saw's stock blade will gnaw through a variety of materials, but maybe not cleanly. For that you'll want specialty blades.

A nonstick coating on the Freud Diablo's 24 carbide teeth (about $11) limits heat buildup, easing cuts through gummy asphalt roofing and pitch-rich pine.
