Faux Stone Counters Make a Big Difference: After

Who: Tracy W.
Where: Orland Park, Ill.

I removed the wallpaper and gave the walls a bright coat of green paint. For the countertops, I knew I could never afford granite, and I didn't want to waste money on new Formica. So I decided to research the idea of faux painting the countertops and gave it a go. I love it, and it looks just like granite!

Who did the work: I did all the work myself.

Cost: Under $100
