We gutted and remodeled the kitchen-family room. My husband did 100 percent of the work. We now have soapstone counters and farm sink with integrated drainboard, white Shaker-style cabinets, red birch floors, Green Mountain windows and door, and new stainless appliances. Our biggest accomplishment was doing all the renovations while raising two young children! We love our kitchen.
