I used to work in construction and grew up with a DIYer father. This project is a complete backyard makeover. First, I took off the old decking, expanded the old structure, and added a lower section with a curve. I redecked with FSC-certified cedar. Then I added a screened porch with French doors from the living room, which lets us open the house to the outdoors.
