Faux Stone Containers
Nothing transforms a ho-hum yard or front entry quite like a stately stone pot or two. The right one can pack as much decorative punch as the plantings it holds. Today many classic shapes are cast in concrete, an affordable alternative to the real thing but still heavy to lift. Even better are look-alikes that replicate the most intricate details—down to the timeworn finish—in lightweight synthetic blends. Shapes run the gamut, from classical urns with a mossy patina to simple round pots with molded trim. Here are 13 of our favorites, all built to last. -
