3½ stars Price: $165; DeWalt Test results: This sander left an acceptable finish on all three surfaces. 95 dB. Dust collection: very good with the bag, excellent with the vacuum. My two cents: "This sander is best for rough sanding and shaping. The critical controls, like speed adjustment, are located at the back of the sander, making adjustments inconvenient." Tool stats: 5.7 pounds, variable speeds, 6,800 max rpm, 8-foot cord.
