In 1938, my grandmother and grandfather bought my Aunt Emma's house. After my mother's death, the house came to me. I had spent every summer there with my grandmother who would tell me about the original house. Though the house needed extensive renovation, I just could not part with it and in 2004, I began renovating and restoring it.
