We restored the front veranda with a little help from RISD-trained designers to develop structurally sound supports for the base of the "wedding cake tower." We re-roofed, replaced some windows, restored original doors, and added a facade around the front door entrance to capture structural supports and balance the appearance of the front of the house. We also restored the original deck, trim, and millwork.
Who did the work: I did some of the work myself Cost: More than $100,000
