Our project is what has come to be known as a "pop-top." The project began over a heated discussion over who should do the dishes: my wife or myself. We needed a dishwasher. What we got was five bedrooms, three baths and two dishwashers. The project took over seven years, beginning in 2002 and ending last year (2009). I've done most of the work myself.
