In addition to expanding and converting the side screened-in porch to a new playroom, the project consisted of completely stripping the aluminum siding as well as four layers of asphalt roof. We recaptured the charm of our home with new shake shingle siding, architectural roof and windows. We also restored all of the previously lost details, like window trim with copper-capped molding, custom working shutters, copper window boxes and a trellised side entry.
