Soapstone countertops, a wenge-wood island top, LED lights and leaded glass in the pantry doors finished off the renovation. We tackled all of the interior and exterior painting ourselves. My husband installed the herringbone slate mudroom floor, as well as the oversized pendant lights above the island.
