Victorian Rowhouse Kitchen: Before

Who: Bronwyn R.
Where: Philadelphia, PA

My husband and I purchased a circa-1887 Eastlake Victorian rowhouse. We were charmed by the home's period details, but we knew immediately that the small 1920s kitchen would need a major remodel. We decided to completely gut the space and remove a load-bearing brick wall between the existing kitchen and breakfast room. We also added insulation and updated the wiring.
