Who: Lisa Rader and Jon Andrews Where: Brandon, VT
When my husband and I bought our first house, we knew the kitchen would need work. Built around 1915, the kitchen occupied half of a post-and-beam horse barn. The other half was unfinished and used as a woodshed. We hadn't planned on doing a complete gut, but during demo, we ran into some complications, so we tore out everything but the main timbers and the roof, and rebuilt from scratch.
