After moving into our 1920s Tudor home, we knew we had to do something about the ugly kitchen. It was a hideous green with dirty linoleum flooring. My husband started the kitchen remodel by enclosing the outdoor porch. We ripped out all the plaster and stripped the walls down to studs to redo all the wiring and plumbing. We wanted an updated kitchen with modern comfort, while still keeping to the integrity of the era.
