The seeds of inspiration for my secret garden hideaway were planted the day I stumbled upon an abandoned building while hiking deep in the woods. Sunlight rays finding their way through the tree tops and touching the slumbering building's decaying beauty brought me a sense of tranquility and peace—as well as a reminder that what once was is no more and eventually all will come to pass as nature reclaims what is rightfully hers.
