Surviving the Renovation Storm: After
Who: Jeon F.
Where: Cleveland, Ohio
To our great surprise, shortly after he finished installing the LVL beam, a huge storm blew in. With an open hole the size of a garage door now in the back of my house, we scrambled to nail up tarps while a raging rain and wind blew into the house. Needless to say, the next day the rain, the wind, and my mood all subsided, and the doors were installed. Other details added shortly after were a red oak coiffured ceiling, lights and glass shelving, wallpaper, picture rail molding, and more. The dining room blossomed into a wonderfully comfortable place to entertain and enjoy the backyard all year long, regardless of how mother nature is feeling.
Who did the work: I did some of the work myself
Cost: $1,000 to $5,000
