Flexible Stone Veneer

Now you can use stone almost anywhere you want—including walls and curved surfaces—with stone veneers. Txtr-Lite slices natural stone into 1- to 5-mm-thick, 2- by 4-foot pieces, then reinforces them with a fiberglass scrim. The stone can then bend around an 18-inch radius. This product can be applied with construction adhesive to many surfaces—including concrete, wood, and drywall—and used in wet areas such as showers. It's available in 10 colors and two varieties of stone: mica schist and slate. About $10 per square foot; TXTR-LITE
