While Stewart and Joyce Gyles have been serial renovators for years, redoing this Lancaster County farmhouse was special. In honor or Stewart’s father, who passed away in 2002, the Gyleses made the restoration of this circa-1757 home into a family affair, as well as a tribute to Stewart’s dad. “He did a lot of work on historic homes,” says Joyce, “and this one would have been right up his alley.”
