Richard and Ginny Hamrick snatched up this 1923 Craftsman cottage about a year ago, restored it into a guest cottage, and now rent it out to a family whose own home recently burned down.
The Hamricks installed new wiring and plumbing, and added a deck, modern kitchen, and new windows. They also painted the exterior, and plan to pretty things up with some nice window boxes. The cottage originally functioned as the main office of a motor lodge.
