The kitchen was gutted and replaced with cabinets I made from cabinet grade 3/4-inch ply and maple face frames (flat panel inset doors and drawers). I made the island with a maple butcher block and milk-paint finish. The counters are soapstone and I made the island sink from the cutouts from the counter.
