Japanese Style

The Kalamazoo Edo sculptural grill, inspired by Japanese food and design, could easily be mistaken for a table. The unique design features two panels of hand-textured stainless steel that slide open to reveal an 18-inch-by-24-inch grilling surface, with counter space on either side. Two control zones with a total of 50,000 BTUs are powered by Kalamazoo's signature cast stainless steel dragon burner system. Liquid propane is standard; natural gas is an option. About $7,000.

Pair Japanese-style design with a Japanese-style dining; fire up a wasabi-miso marinated flank steak.
