From When You Want Something Done Right, Do It Yourself, July/Aug 2005
With Atlanta's weather as, well, graceful as it is, the table in the foreground of this front porch works as an outdoor eating space nearly all year. The neighborhood, Grant Park, is full of grand old Southern porches, but this one stands out with bright pine floors, beadboard ceiling, thick columns and an inviting swing. Plus, it has these white curtains that look fresh off a Tennessee Williams set, allowing the homeowners to wave at passersby or have a private picnic. The only thing the picture's missing is a plate of deviled eggs.
