Maybe it's because I've spent many a Thanksgiving below the Mason-Dixon line with my girlfriend's family in Georgia, but this simple, solid Atlanta dining room gives me a hankering for fried turkey, high-rise biscuits, bourbon-soaked yams, and pecan pie. Located within a thoughtfully preserved Craftsman bungalow, it features some mighty striking heart-pine millwork, most notably these elegant handsome columns and the built-in china cabinet. The triple bay window provides plenty of light, and a stained glass window with a wisteria motif adds some true Southern charm.
