Using a ruler or combination square, mark lines 1¼ inches from the top and one side edge of a half sheet of plywood; this will show you where to place your trim. Lay the tile within the two lines, and trace the remaining side and bottom. Then draw another line 1¼ inches from the tin's side edge and a line ½ inch beyond the bottom edge of the tin; this is where you'll mount the backband molding as a chalk holder.
