Step 5: Notch the display bottom

Using a jigsaw, cut notches for the screw strips at each corner of the display bottom. Slip the bottom into the table's base so that it rests on the support strips along the bottom edge of each apron piece. Tack the bottom in place with 1-inch nails.

    2. Baseboard to make the tabletop fame. Get two 8-foot boards.

    3. 1x5 to make the apron. Get two 8-foot boards.

    4. 1x1 to make the cleats and the lip of the tabletop frame. Get three 8-foot boards.

    5. Table legs. Get four.

    6. Acrylic sheet. Get a piece at least 30 by 60 inches. 7. 1-inch nails

    8. 2-inch nails

    9. 1 ¼-inch screws

    10. 2-inch screws

    11. Permanent marker

    12. Wood glue

    13. A cyanoacrylate glue, such as Super Glue
